Apple of my eye...

Happy Thursday! Wow, the weekend is so close I can almost see it! Everyone still has colds in our house but at least it hasn't translated into grouchy kids:) This card was inspired by the rainy weather we've been having. I've had this stamp and sentiment from amuse for over two years and this is the first time it's been pulled out. I made this one for sc268 over at splitcoaststampers. It's been so long since I've been over there. I used to frequent the forums like crazy but since getting my cricut the rubber has gotten a little dusty. It's been fun pulling out my stamps and getting messy again. In a sad way it's like reconnecting with an old friend...

Well after that, onto the card...

Supplies used: Cardstock: SU: Ballet blue, old olive barely banana, whisper white Patterned: DCWV Stamp and Sentiment: Amuse Ink: SU old olive, memento tuxedo black Bling: Ribbon from Michaels, buttons SU, copics, sewing machine
Onto my Just because Cards card. This cut is so freakin cute! I didn't change up a thing except for adding the scallops under the apple.

For this cut, make sure you turn your 8.5x11 cardstock into the landscape position and you can get two 5 1/4 cards out of your sheet. I used bazzill bling for the first apple layer and it really helps the leaves pop. I do find with this cart because you can't layer the phrases that they quite often need a little extra so I'm sure you'll be sick of the white gel pen when all is said and done with this series:)

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Georgia pacific white, SU rose red, bazzill bling, Patterned: DCWV, SU (apple paper totally rocks!!!) cricut and JBC marvy scalloped punches, signo white gel pen, elmers white paint pen.
Have a great day and thank-you so much for stopping by my little corner of the web!
Sarah
