Busy, Busy!

I have to tell you that Monday completely snuck up on me. We were so crazy busy this weekend (all great stuff) but wow, I didn't have time to even sit down until now. I made this card for PDCC109 and CS#68 on Friday and am just posting them now.   Honestly I have to say that these colours were a HUGE stretch for me but I loved the results. I also dusted off my eyelet box and gave those relics a stop in the spotlight again:) So without further ado... Here's the inspiration...

Patterned: K&Company

New Neighbour card and the first Christmas Card of the season!

I'm on a roll! Two days of crafting in a row! I think it's been at least seven months since that happened and I'm working on some baby shower decorations using the new ribbons and rosettes cart as I type so stay tuned for some more cuteness later this week...This first card was a successful attempt with the cricut craft room and my imagine. I had problems with it on my computer but when I stole my husbands laptop, everything worked. I consider myself lucky because I think a lot of people have been having problems. When it works though, it's awesome and I'm sure provocraft will continue to work the bugs out on it. I made this card for my new neighbours, nothing fancy but I wanted to give the craft room a whirl.

 Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific white
Patterned and die-cuts: Cricut Imagine More,Cindy Loo,Craft Room Basics Carts
Ink: Stampin Up Close to Cocoa

My New Toy!!!!

Wow, it has been months since I've posted, and really pretty much that long since I've had some time to craft. My usually overflowing stash of cards has been completely depleted and instead of focusing on Christmas, I needed to get some much needed birthday cards created. I can't tell you how great it feels to be creating something again. Sometimes I forget just how therapeutic, my hobby is.

What about my new toy you say??? Well let me tell you! One of my best's and I went down to the CRAZINESS of black Friday this past week and I picked up the Cricut Imagine for a mere $187.00! Even better is that I've already sold off my baby bug and a few carts and completely recouped the cost! So now my craft room is abuzz with both the expression and imagine! I've been very fortunate (unlike the majority) to have no problems with my new machine so I was able to start creating last night. So here is my handy work.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific
Patterned:Little Yellow Bicycle
Diecuts: Cricut Imagine and Imagine More Cartridge
Stamps:None on front, Inside sentiment says: They say it's your birthday!
I love this one for a guys bday. So easy! I cut the ruler layer in addition to the base and popped it up as well as the man with the megaphone:)

This was actually the first, hot of the press card I made. I kept it simple because I wanted to see if my new baby worked!
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific, Bazzill (brown)
Patterned: Cricut Imagine More Cart
Stamps: SU
Diecut: Simply Charmed Cart
Bling: Irock by imaginesce

Card #3 and perhaps my favorite. I made this for my Stepmom's birthday. She'll be getting it a week late but better than never:)
Supplies used:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific white
Patterned and die-cut: Cricut Imagine and Imagine more Cart
Stamp: SU
Ribbon and twine: SU
Bling: Irock
Buttons: Random stash

Not sure if anyone is still around after all this time but thanks for stopping in if you are!

Can you believe I'm back?

I know you all have been wondering where in the world I went. I'm sure you've been haunted by the question for the last few months, worrying incessantly... Okay maybe that's a touch overboard but for the curious, this is what a portion of our summer looked like...

My DS Isaac has had to undergo one of two hip surgeries with the next one coming in a few weeks. So needless to say, our life has been a little different this summer. We've still had plenty of time for fun though rest assured:) Because of this though, I've really lost touch with the crafting side of things so I was thrilled to have a chance to play in my craft room with Sydney this afternoon. So here are the offerings...

This first one is for the current Trigger Tuesday and SSSC133

And here's my card...

Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific,Bazzill
Patterned: K&Company
Stamps: Hero Arts
Diecuts: Cricut Expression with George and Kate's ABCs

This next one is for a friends birthday and I just whipped it up for that.

A little mojo

How's everyone doing today? We've had some rain here that was actually quite refreshing after a few hot days. The sun is welcome back tomorrow :) It seems like this week is insanely busy (I've gone back to work part time, end of school stuff, church meetings, etc..) but I still got some time in the craftroom last night. It's nice having nothing to watch on t.v. because it gets me upstairs. I'm working on an apron for my daughter so that should keep me busy for the next few days too. Anywho, enough about me, here's what I did last night for mojo194. DH is away on a few business trips over the next few weeks so I wanted to stock up on cards to sneak into his suitcase. Here's the inspiration...

On a roll!

Hello again:) This week it seems as though the creative juices have been flowing at the Bruneski house! I made todays card last night at 11pm and it practically made itself. Sometimes creations are hard fought and sometimes they're a breeze and this one was definitely easy breezy. I took out an embossing folder and inked it up before running the base piece through for the coloured base. I also pulled out my long neglected pastels. I rarely use them but they were perfect for the feel of this card. So here's the inspiration pieces...

Hello, hello! I can't believe it but I think I'm getting sick again! Grr, hopefully this time it's just a cold and not another infection. I think the Lord is trying to humble me this year, I normally never get sick and have secretly thought it was because I'm such a health nut. Well lesson learned, I'm only a mere mortal!
