Ahhh, Sunday!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. We had a great morning at church, relaxing afternoon, and an awesome dinner (if I do say so myself). Now's the time to spend with you:) I did get a fair bit of time to craft this weekend so here you go...

The first card is #10 in my just because card series. The colour palette was inspired by the embellishmagazine.com color challenge plus embossing

The flower was done by inking up my cuttlebug embossing folder on the debossed side. Then when you run your paper through the cuttlebug, the ink will transfer from the folder to your paper . Super cool effect. I also used SU's iridescent ice on the bloom.
Supplies Used: Cardstock: SU green galore, whisper white, bashful blue Patterned: DCWV Ink:SU pink passion, versamark Bling: Cuttlebug/swiss dots, embossing powder, signo gel pen
The next card is in honour of all of you! I'm so touched that in a little over a month 24 of you have decided to follow along on my creative journey so a big THANKS to all of you! The sketch used is from CPS#165 and thank-you to curtain calls act28 for the colour combo. This is also my first ever attempt at a tim holtz grunge flower. I used the accent essentials flower with the italic function.

Supplies Used: Cardstock: SU kraft, rose red, not quite navy, whisper white Ink: whisper white craft, memento tuxedo black Stamp: SU Bling: glimmer mist, elmer's rhinestone's, sewing machine

And Finally...#11 in the JBC series. You're a blast was so fun that I had to do it three ways. The rockets got the royal treatment with stickles and glossy accents. I really appreciated how easy this one was to layer.

Supplies used: Cardstock: SU: Blue Bayoux, real red, not quite navy, whisper white , chocolate chip Patterned Paper: Imaginesence Bling: stickles, glossy accents, ribbon
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!
Sarah
