Fell off the face of the earth!!

Wow, sorry guys for being so mia! We've been so busy around here with end of school stuff, charity runs, camping etc. that my poor blog has been neglected! I have made it into my craft room once this week and this is what's to show for it...

First up is the You take the cake card from my Just Because Cards series. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Supplies used: Cardstock: SU apricot appeal, close to cocoa, rose red Patterned: SU and DCWV sweet stack Bling: Ribbon: Michaels liquid pearls from ranger

So I had to take drastic measures since my search for the new Dude lite cart has come up lacking. I have a little program called Make the cut that I use from time to time and it really filled the void here. Please note this program is not endorsed by provocraft and will void your warrenty if used. I really like it however. I found this silhouette from a google search and layered it. The paper is from We R Memory keepers and it's PERFECT for this type of imagery.
Supplies used: Cardstock Georgia Pacific white, SU night of navy and bordering blue Patterned: We R Memory Keepers MVP stack Make the Cut software
Last up is another super simple scrap page. I'm finally finished the aquarium pics! Hooray!

Supplies Used: Patterned: K&Company SU Bling: Martha stewart punch, brads, glimmer mist (on flowers)
Have a great night everyone!

Uncreative post title:)

Sorry, I have no cute, or creative post title for today. Luckily, I had a little creativity in my craft room last night. I can't believe there's another Hello Thursday today over at Provocraft! Is anyone else feeling a little information overload lately! I think I'll happily stay in my little craft room and play with the toys in here!

The first card today I made for cqc37. Colors are very vanilla, always artichoke, cameo coral, ruby red and apricot appeal. I pulled out the sewing machine on this one and I realized I really need to practice more at getting my zig zags straight:)

Supplies used: Cardstock: SU Patterned: SEI winnie's walls collection, Ink: SU always artichoke Craft ink Stamp: SU Bling: Sewing machine, Martha stewart punch Cricut and Paisley cart

Next is the sweetie pie cut from the JBC cart. I have to say the paper really makes this one for me. One side note however is that when you cut the shadow for pie, it then becomes to big for the card base. I don't mind but something to be aware of if you make this card.
Supplies Used: Cardstock: SU whisper white, bashful blue, old olive, basic black, creamy caramel, rose red Patterned: SU retired pack. Bling: icicle stickles, elmers paint pen.

Have a great night everyone!

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Georgia Pacific white, SU Certainly celery, old olive Patterned Paper: K&Company and Me and My Big Ideas Bling: Ranger stickles in icicle and signo white gel pen.

A Late post...

How is every one's Monday going? We had a crazy day around here, including loading up my three kids (The oldest being 6 and in a wheelchair) and heading down to the states. Why you may ask? Well to try to snag the new Dude! cricut lite cartridge of course! Unfortunately the Wally world didn't have that one in:( but I did pick up B is for boy and some super cute scrap pads so I'm pretty pumped. I only hope that these lite carts make it to Canada before to long. I'll be back tomorrow with some more from my Just Because Cards series but for today, I did have time to sneak in this quick layout. This is for Creative Scrappers sketch108. Pretty much the same pic's as yesterday...

Supplies used: Cardstock: SU more mustard, wild wasabi, bayou blue Patterned: DCWV green stack (LOVE IT!) Bling: Cricut and Graphically speaking cart, cuttlebug /spots and dots (i think) Ribbon: SU and random buttons.

Another layout...

So after finishing my first layout in months yesterday, it inspired me to really catch up with my layouts. In order to do that though, I really am needing to simplify things. This really goes against my nature but I'd rather be more up to date with my pages so here goes... The only cricut on this one is the clouds from Everyday paper dolls. I think I hammered this one out in 10 minutes. My kind of scrappin:)

Supplies used: Cardstock: Bazzill, SU Ink: SU Bling: SU rubons, cuttlebug, cricut expression/everyday paper dolls. Ribbon from Michaels.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

What an awesome day! The sun is out again!!!!!!!!!! We have had so much rain, this is really overdue. I had a few hours last night to craft, it is so nice to get a chunk of uninterrupted time in my little room. I'm so thankful to be able to have a space that I can leave my stuff out and not have to worry about finishing it at that exact moment kwim? So here are 2 more JBC cards as well as a long overdue scrapbook page. I've decided I really need to knock out more pages, I'm a year behind now so it's time to get cracking.

Anyways here you go... The first card is cut at 6 1/4

The return of sunshine!

Hip Hip Hooray! It's finally sunny again here! Tomorrow is supposed to be amazing as well. Can you tell I love the sun:)

I have 2 cards for you today. The first is #24 in my JBC series. Wow only 6 more until my next blog candy! I cut this one at 5 1/4 and will just use a standard size envelope. I did this because I was a little freaked out about the intricate layers. I would definately recommend a fresher mat and blade on this one if you were cutting any smaller.

Li Supplies Used: Cardstock: SU kraft, creamy caramel, chocolate chip, very vanilla, sage shadow, bashful blue Patterned: K&Company Life's journey pack. (Isn't it perfect!)
The next one is for sketch challenge 19 over at OCC. I made this for a 4 year old's bday party coming up next week. I love how soft and girly it turned out. I was short on the green mat so don't look to closely at the details:) How picky can a 4 year old be??? Since I had the Just Because Cards already loaded in my cricut I went with it. How perfect is the sticker cut for this sketch?

Supplies used: Cardstock: Georgia Pacific white Patterned: DCWV Nursery Girl and Glitter stacks Cricut and Just because cards SU rub-on, lace trim from fabric land, Ranger liquid pearls in raspberry.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your evening!

A little sparkle on a dull day!

Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday was not nearly as productive as I would have liked. We forgot about an IEP meeting for my oldest son in the afternoon and I was invited out to a movie with the girls last night so all my great plans went down the tube. I did however get one of my sketches done. I loved the new one for cps170. Here's my take on it!

See you tomorrow!

an exercise in frustration:)

Long time no blog everyone! I have had a crazy past week, and issues with my little old blogger account have kept me away. All is sorted out though. I did have issues uploading the close-ups of this card though so you only get the one shot:). I made this card with a man in mind so kept it simple accordingly. The paper is from DCWV natural stack and is awesome! The paisley is foiled so it really is a stand out. I used coffee shop glimmer mist on both the dog and the title. Other than that, pretty straight forward. I have a whole afternoon of rainy weather ahead of me to play in my craft room so be prepared for a blitz of cards later today or tomorrow. On another note my oldest son is going to be interviewed for the local paper this afternoon! He has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair. They're interviewing him for a run, walk, and roll he's leading for our local child development center. So exciting! I guess that means I should get cleaning my house:)

Have a great afternoon everyone!
